TOPS Knives Machete .230 Knife Fixed Blade (15.75″ Gray) MAC-230

Description

TOPS Knives created the Machete .230 in response to demand for a light, fast, practical and general use blade with an enlarged comfortable working handle. The Machete .230 features a 1/8 inch thick 1095 steel blade with a 15.5″ cutting edge and grooved linen Micarta scales. TOPS’ good friend and well-known designer, outdoorsman and writer, Joe “Shangoman” Flowers, collaborated with TOPS shop manager, Leo “The Lion” Espinoza on the design for a new machete. After much deliberation, they finally came to a positive agreement with the design and practical field ability; the MACHETE .230 was born. Vigorous testing in a wide variety of terrains has proved the Machete’s superior field performance. To compliment the unique point on the blade and handle design, TOPS Knives custom built a ballistic nylon sheath with 2 separate (flap and buckle closure) accessory pockets. These pockets can hold an array of small tools.
