It includes a honing steel, shears, a storage block, and four knives, each with a hammered, Damascus-clad, VG-MAX steel blade and a pakkawood handle. The Shun Premier line boasts a stunning aesthetic on top of its premium materials—a series of functional works of art. Each blade, as the focal point, has a mirror sheen, Damascus cladding, and a tsuchime (hammered) finish; as far as function, you’re looking at a cutting edge of Shun’s proprietary VG-MAX super steel, which is additionally stain-resistant thanks to the Damascus jacket, and releases food when slicing better thanks to the hammering. Each knife is handmade in Japan with over 100 crafting steps. Check out our stock of the rest of the Shun Premier line and complete your set!
