Description

This Harpoon Mini Flipper knife has a 416/Nickel/52100 San Mai Damascus steel blade. The handle features Mokume bolsters and Thunderstorm Kevlar scales over titanium liners. The steel back spacer is filed, along with the liners, flipper and blade spine. This knife includes a signed certificate of authenticity. Mark Nevling, the craftsman and creator of Burr Oak Knives, discovered his enthusiasm for knife-making in 1987 when he created his first knife. He has continued in perfecting his work since that time, now as a full-time maker with a skill set that is evidenced in the exemplary knives he produces. Mark Nevling is also a volunteer firefighter and a certified first responder in Hume, Illinois; this gives him working knowledge of the particular needs of these professionals.
