When GEC took over the copyright, they decided that the brand would only be used on the highest quality knives, preserving Northfield’s name. Today, these knives are crafted with 1095 high carbon steel blades and springs for durability. With proper care, this knife steel can be passed down through generations. The handles are made from high-quality, traditional materials for elegance that lasts. If you like modern traditional pocket knives, you’ll love GEC’s Northfield UN-X-LD line!
