This Knife Blade: 3.125″ dagger-style blade made from premium M390MK steel with a flat grind and tactical black finish. Dual plain edges provide piercing capability with precision. Opener: Double-action thumb slide for lightning-fast out-the-front automatic deployment and retraction. Handle: 4.375″ OD green anodized aluminum handle with chamfered edges for a lightweight yet solid grip. Lock: Reliable internal dual-action mechanism with a secure retraction system — standard for OTF autos. Carry: Tip-down stainless steel pocket clip and integrated glass breaker for mission-ready carry. Description: The Microtech UTX-85 is much like the incredibly popular Ultratech, but shrunk down by 15%, hence the name UTX-85. Microtech refuses to settle for less than the finest of materials, and the blade steel will run with the best in edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. The handle is made from milled aluminum with an ergonomic contour, allowing for comfortable, prolonged use. There are a few patches of jimping that provide added grip when actuating the thumb slide, in or out. There is a reversible deep-carry pocket clip mounted using an attractive, proprietary bolt with a bearing glass breaker tip.
